Did you give a gift to your guest at your wedding? I know some people do Koozies.. what did you do?

We did not, and I don't go to weddings assuming I'll get a gift. I think it's a preference, if it's something you want to do and can afford. But it seems like an unnecessary expense personally. You're already paying for these people to eat, and they're there to bring YOU gifts and celebrate you 🤷‍♀️ those are my thoughts haha

I got these gorgeous skeleton keys on Amazon that were also bottle openers and added a cute note that we were hoping they would be as happy and blessed when they celebrate as we were to have them celebrating our wedding with us..

I did a candy bar for people to take candy home; favors are super expensive and I only had about 60 people at my wedding so maybe I’m the wrong one, but I personally don’t think all wedding traditions are for everyone’s wedding. 
I didn’t do a garter toss, but my sister did. 
I didn’t have a cake, just the candy bar for desserts and favor bags for people to take home. My sister had a wedding cake and cupcakes. 
If you can do them, that’s awesome! If you are already cutting it close to your budget, it’s a cost that I think won’t be missed much if you do. 
Some cute affordable ideas are Mints- with a print off saying “Mint to Be”.
Coffee beans, if you and your partner enjoy coffee with a bag that says “love is brewing.

To be honest- most people just toss the favors. No one really cares to have a little knick knack from thier second cousins friends wedding if you know what I mean. If you want to do a favor- do something like candy that they can snack on on the way home or something, at least then you know it's likely not just gonna get tossed in a few months

Honestly I think guests don’t expect a gift, I certainly don’t. 
As far as favours go, if it was something plastered with your names and wedding date, I would probably leave it behind, what need do I have for a cheap looking single item with your names and wedding date? Don’t waste your money. 
I go to a wedding and know I’ll be eating and drinking all day, it’s a day for celebrating with friends and family.

We also did a donation to a greyhound rescue on behalf of everyone.

Last 2 weddings they did stubby holders with their wedding details on them. They are great as it is something we actually use at home now

I gave everyone a slice of cake. That’s personally what I like as a party favor at weddings lol

I used pretty river rocks instead of placeholder cards and wrote everyone’s names on them. Everyone took their rocks home with them. I also made a donation for breast cancer research on behalf of my cousin who had passed the month before.
