Road trip??

Hello ladies. So my birthday is next month I want to go on a road trip but haven't traveled before. I would love to go somewhere by car   I live in PHX AZ I also have a 3 year old daughter that would be tagging along with me any recommendations or tips ??

I looooved San Diego! They have a super cute zoo ( if into that) but then they have the marina and a bunch of other different things to do...grand canyon, Las Vegas isn't far ( like 4 hrs I think it took us). You could even stay local and see different things that are an hr from Phoenix but still somewhat close. Just stay in a hotel and bam mini vacay.
