Mirena removal spotting/periods

So I got my Mirena taken out 2 days ago. I never really had periods after the first few months, just occasional spotting and cramps. I’m trying to figure out when I’ll get my first period post IUD. The last time I had cramps and spotting was a couple weeks ago, so would that have been my last “period”? When did you get your first period after removal?

I’m spotting today, which I’m assuming is just from removal.

My doctor wants us to wait a month or at least until next period to actually TTC, but now that I have it out, I’m really eager to just start trying 😩
