It’s possible, but you can try to avoid it. I was told before TTC baby #2 to make sure I’m at a normal BMI, be active throughout pregnancy not just before the glucose test, and eating better. It may not always work, but its ways you can try to prevent it in the pregnancies after.

I actually had it for my second child, not my first. But my with my first I was 16 and barely 120lbs. I was just diagnosed today with my third pregnancy at 24 weeks.
