Does my belly button piercing look infected?

I haven’t had a ring in it for a few years now and just as of a couple days ago it’s become really itchy and red. Could it just be from stretching or do you think it could be infected? I am 37+5

Its just from it stretching, i put mederma on mine and the redness went away

Might be. You could clean w/ hydrogen peroxide, sterile solution or alcohol just in case for the next week or so. If you develop yellow crust or it begins to ooze, is hot to the touch or is tender when touched it is infected.

Put luke warm water in a shot glass with a table spoon of salt, hold it against your belly button for 20 minutes a couple times a day until it goes away, it should only take a couple days.

I doubt it is infected, check for any heat or any other signs of infections. Mine stretched from getting pregnant and some areas turned red like that too.
