Attempt at sex 2 weeks postpartum

My husband and I attempted sex last night. He barely started, did not go in all the way, just the tip...it hurt a bit so I stopped it before it hurt worse.

We just finished off in another way.

Last baby I was 3 weeks postpartum when we attempted but we were able to go all the way I just wasn't able to climax. This time I thought 2 weeks wasn't so bad but it was lol so I'll be waiting for a while.

I just wanted to ask when did you attempt sex postpartum? Did you wait for doctors approval or did you try when you felt it was right?
