Baby still doesn't look when we point
Starting to get worried ☹️. She knows her name and wants to be picked up, babbles and claps, but doesn't understand pointing.
She watches my hands and thinks the shape of pointing fingers are entertaining, but if I point to something behind her she won't look towards it, just stares at my hand.
I wonder if maybe it's because we don't point much? Same thing happened with clapping (she didn't know how and I was worried until I realized we don't clap very much... Then after seeing us clap for a few weeks she got it.)
Just really worried about the pointing thing. Anyone else have a baby who doesn't understand pointing yet? Or a baby who got better with practice?
