What worked for y’all to get pregnant with irregular periods?

Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and learn the Fertility Awareness Method. Since reading that book I’ve had zero issues confirming ovulation. 
Here’s my chart from last cycle (using OvaGraph and oral temperature):

My peak day was CD28. This is when I ovulated, which was my last day of my most fertile cervical fluid, my last day of my cervix being Soft, High, Open, and Wet (or SHOW), my last day of lubricative vaginal sensation. The day after, my temp rose and stayed high for the following days, which confirmed that ovulation was successful. I could expect my period to start about 13 days later. (This was a weird cycle due to taking Red Raspberry Leaf, which brought on my period much sooner than it should have, hence all of the spotting.)
Here’s my current chart (using Fertility Friend and a wearable fertility monitor, so my temps are smoother and lower):

My peak day based on cervical fluid and position was either CD16 or CD17. It can take 2-4 days after ovulation for temp to rise, it doesn’t always rise the day after. That’s why you can’t use temp alone to identify your fertile days. You can only use it to confirm that ovulation was successful. My temp indicates I’m about 5dpo but my cervical fluid peak day indicates I’m probably closer to 8-9dpo. I can expect my period to start sometime next week, probably around June 26th - June 29th, if I’m not pregnant. 
So even though these two cycles are irregular - my ovulation occurred on CD28 in the first one and about CD17 in the second one - I know exactly when I should expect my period, when I should baby dance for my best chances, and when I should take a pregnancy test if my period doesn’t show.
Note: I do not use OPKs. For most, they’re unnecessary. For me, they were a waste of time and money because no matter when or how frequently I tested, I’ve never gotten a positive test. Even when I tested 2-3 times per day all 5 days leading up to ovulation, I never got a positive test. But I could tell I was still ovulating.

First time we actually gave up after 18 months then got pregnant. 2nd and 3rd time used ovulation strips (both ended in mc). 4th time I finally regulated my period which was ranging from 35-75 days.

Tracking ovulation. You can get ovulation strips for $1 at the dollar tree or y’all to your OB about getting bloodwork done to test and make sure you are ovulating. Sometimes you won’t and they will proscribe you medicine to regulate your periods so you WILL ovulate. You’ve got to test a lot but it’s worth it in the end. My cycles range from 28 to 30 days before I miscarried earlier this year. I’m on my 3rd cycle now and my first 2 cycles were 40 to 45 days.
