If you only want something for a year I don’t suggest the iud use something that will be easy to just stop instead of going onto the office to have removed . I had the iud got it removed once I got married got on the patch and when we were ready we stopped the patch and conceived within 2 months

It's the best thing! I've had copper iud twice and gotten pregnant immediately after removal no complicationsTWICE🙃..meanwhile with hormonal birth control I struggled to get pregnant for over 10months.🙄

I personally LOVED my iud.
Made my periods super light and manageable. 
As soon as I got it out to start trying for my third baby I hated it being gone 😂 
Normal periods without birth control are torture!!

I got it PP after my first and knew we would be trying in about a year. It was free with insurance and I like it because it's set it and forget it. Every birth control method comes with risks, talk to your provider about what is right for you.
