Why is it soo hot where i live but other parts is alittle fresh ?🙄🖕🏼

So i live in California and the town is called Bakersfield. Basically where i live is the desert. No ocean . No nothing , we do have lakes and little rivers but no ocean , the ocean is like an hour or 2 hours away. It is currently 102 degrees and i dont get some parts of California is so fresh like in the 70’s and 80’s. Why do we have to deal with triple digits???? Its not fair and too hotttt!!!!! Los angeles is 81 degrees right now😤😤 i hate living here!!!
