Anyone else stop trying because of the coronavirus??

We thought about waiting but we decided to try and if it happened it's mean to be. We got pregnant right away, I'm due January 19. I don't go back to work for another few weeks until I'm 12 weeks off my doctors recommendation. My husband hasn't been aloud at any doctor's appointments or my first ultrasound ( I wasn't able to video tape or get pictures). I'm trying to be as careful as I can, not doing unnecessary trips just grocery shopping. 
So far I don't have any regrets. You never know what will happen and if you want a baby you shouldn't let it stop you.

I stopped trying was going to do ivf the next month. Had tried for three years 2 failed iuis and two miscarriages. Covid came and I said screw it im not meant to be a mom. Low and behold the next month I took a pregnancy test for shura and giggles it was positive!! 11 weeks now! All in Gods wonderful timing.

I’m pregnant, due in November, and had I known it was going to be this insane, I would have waited. I’m more afraid of the hospital policies than I am contracting the actual freaking virus. It took 17 months to conceive and this will be our last baby but November is when everyone thinks it will hit hard again. I don’t regret the pregnancy and love my baby but am dreading the birth and the fear I won’t be able to be around my parents. I had terrible PPD the first time and my mom basically lived with us when not working since my husband had a hard work schedule.

Me! We stopped trying in March because of the virus, but I’m thinking that I want to start trying again. It seems like the hospitals know enough now where we all will be safe. I might wait one more month to try though, I’m not sure yet.

I would not let coronavirus stop me unless there was an unemployment issue with me or my husband.

I would suggest not waiting. The chance of conception on the best day each month is only 20% (even if you have 5 friends who got pregnant on their first try) and it takes an average healthy couple a year to conceive. 
Even if you get pregnant right away, you won’t have to worry about hospital protocols for another 9 months. Most hospitals are allowing one support person (as long as they are negative for COVID) and if partners aren’t allowed at appointments many doctors all allowing FaceTime in order for the partner to experience the ultrasound. The most important one isn’t until 18-20weeks, the anatomy scan, which would also be a long way off. 
As someone who tried for 2 years and had to do fertility treatments, I wouldn’t let anything put TTC on hold. If you are willing and okay to wait that’s obviously fine, but I don’t think there’s a reason to. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and will likely be delivering during another surge thanks to states “opening up,” but I wouldn’t change that and want to have to wait longer.
