Acupuncture for Fertility

Who has tried it? Am I throwing away my money?

I get 11 acupuncture treatments a year on my insurance plan, only paying a specialist copay. There is an acupuncture office literally next door to my workplace that specializes in fertility. Figured I’d give it a try - at bare minimum it’s much cheaper than a massage and I do find it relaxing. I’ll be going weekly until I’ve used up my 11 sessions. She even ends the treatment with cupping, kind of neat. Yes, I have ridiculous bruises on my back but they’re oddly satisfying to look at.

Understandably, I’m a skeptic. I have a friend who swears acupuncture cured her dairy intolerance. I have other friends who say it’s all wishful thinking - placebo effect or coincidence.

Anyone have any experience they can share? Thoughts?
