My family is out of state but I wouldn’t be social distancing if they weren’t

We don’t really see anyone except my sisters and their kids. That’s only been recent. We all socially distanced and stuff for the first long while. Once the governor lifted the stay at home order, we made the choice to see each other since we had all been very careful and for our mental health, we needed to see more than our own 4 walls. We limit our exposure to anyone and anywhere else to necessity because we’re still being cautious.

We are currently using it as an excuse to avoid certain family members who are pissing us off LOL but otherwise we would probably resume contact with family members who aren't in a lot of contact with the public (eg health care worker), no hugs and kisses, wash hands coming in the door type of precautions, and we don't live in a major city.

We are from all family except my parents, my mom is working from home and social distancing and my dad works outdoors and doesn’t usually have direct contact with coworkers but is also social distancing and my SIL who is social distancing. 
My sister and brother aren’t taking it as seriously and aren’t distancing like they should so we aren’t seeing them. 
My FIL works in a nursing home so We haven’t seen him or my MIL since early March? I saw my MIL once at a distance and both wearing masks. But still I wasn’t comfortable. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We chose not to take on the risk of others, even family.  We’re social distancing the most from my husbands parents because they can’t stay home but have seen my mom and brother since they are either not going out or going out as little as possible.
