Dont know how to cope

Have been crying the past few days and no motivation because i found out my mother in law has triple negative breast cancer. Its a very rare type of breast cancer that spreads very quickly. Its in her bones and a bit in her lungs. They gave her 12-24 months to live. The only thing they can try is chemo. And chemo doesn’t cure it, it just slows it down. I dont know im just so sad. I’ve only been married for three years. Only got to know her for three years. Her youngest daughter is 10.
