Sun Poisoning?! HELP!

Has anyone experienced this before?! My face is super swollen, I can barely even open my eyes. I thought I had a bad sun burn on my face from the beach yesterday and now I’ve woken up with a face that’s triple the size of my normal one! Any advice? I can’t get to a doctors ATM so I need tips please.

It’s probably a second degree burn rather than poisoning.

In addition to what others have said,  pat your face with a washcloth soaked in cold water. It will help with the swelling and itching.

Yes! This happened to me when I was in college and didn’t wear sunscreen. I went to the ER. It was years ago so I remember them giving me Prilosec and a prescription for getting the swelling down. That was the last time I didn’t wear sunscreen after the doctor told me you will be lucky if your face doesn’t not scar. I would get to a doctor ASAP, if for anything some relief. You may be allergic to the sun like I am.
