How do I tell him I love him?

Heyyyy there girls, 
This is probably a mega dumb q but I’m really nervous about telling my bf I love him for the first time. I’m worried he won’t say it back and I’ll look like an idiot. 
We’re going out for dinner on Wednesday (it’s Saturday now) for our anniversary (of sorts) and I think it’d be the perfect time but I’m sooooo stressed. Any tips?? 
Also any tips on how to be not super awkward if he doesn’t say it back?

It comes out Naturally I and I feel like since it’s your anniversary dinner I feel like when you guys are having that romantic moment you should be like you are my everything you make me feel like no one else and I love you for that and he will probably be surprised but I doubt that he wouldn’t say it back nothing beats an anniversary like the first I love you.
