What does This mean?

Okay so I’ve been chatting to this guy for a LONG time.. We were supposed to meet but then this pandemic got in the way so we couldn’t. Anyway.. He keeps bringing up that ‘he more than likes me’. For example, I woke up the other day to a message from him saying “well.. I think it’s safe to say I more than like you.” I don’t exactly know what he means by it and I’ve asked him but he said that he doesn’t wanna tell me until we’re face to face. What do you think this meant? 🤔
