Did anyone conceive only having sex 2,3 , and 5 days BEFORE ovulation and if so what gender did you have?

Hi there, ladies!

My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive since July 2019. In December 2019, I had a normal HSG and in January 2020, all my hormone levels and egg reserve tests were within normal limits. (I also had full bloodwork including thyroid in April 2019, which also was all normal).

Long story short, this was the one month that we were okay with it not happening as we are getting married in 9 months.. and decided since we weren’t going to TTC this month, he would get his sperm checked. Even with that said, I can’t help but still monitor my bbt (no OPKs this month) because I want to provide the information to my doctor when we have the consultation with his test results (and I only have three full cycles where I monitored bbt). I have been having EWCM for the last 6 days and have not seen a temp rise yet and had a mild drop this morning. We are 3 days before his appointment where we can’t have sex prior for those 3 days but I have an feeling that it happened today.

As much as I say I’d be okay with it not happening this month, I still have that desire for our baby and even thought of back up plans for wedding (like moving the date) and after learning my body and the changes over the months during ovulation, it’s hard to not monitor what I see!

I was just looking for others experience with not actually have sex close to or on your ovulation date and the gender (because we would love a boy but after trying for a year, we just want to start our family!) Please share your story 😊
