Doctor didn’t call about my testing result?

So, I went in for tests back in January of this year, got tested for all STI’s and when I went back in, he told me everything was clear... Now, my country has an online health site where you can check your medical history, so I went on there and was looking at my results, and I saw that HSV 1 and 2 say present.. why didn’t he tell me?!

I’ve never had an outbreak down there, and I read that they don’t recommend getting tested if you’ve never had an outbreak because there’s a chance of a false positive if you have HSV 1 or chicken pox (HSV 3) in your system.. so now I don’t know what to do!
