Will they have to do another vaginal ultrasound??

I am 15 weeks. They will be checking to see if the placenta has moved up where it is supposed to be because it was very low. I called the nurse today to ask if I finally was going to have an abdominal ultrasound and she said it probably will be vagina again. I just don’t understand why I would have another vaginal at 15 weeks?! I have had 4 vaginal ultrasounds and I really don’t want a 5th😩 do you think I’ll have a vaginal again?? At 15 weeks??

Depends what they want to see. To check on baby, they do abdominal after 10 weeks. But maybe they need to see "the other side", therefore thay use vaginal.

Maybe they’ll see the placenta better that way? I only had 2 vaginal ultrasounds one at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks the rest were abdominal

We had early care by fertility specialist following a mc so weekly scans starting at five weeks. Then first scans once discharged to OB were all vaginal. I honestly wasn’t too bothered by them.
