Found out last minute-no spot at work daycare! 😱

Back in November we registered our son for the daycare at my work and were told there shouldn't be a problem with him starting in July. We were placed on a waitlist but expected to earn a spot as other infants age out and move to other classrooms. I never received any email outlining waitlist expectations, never received an email regarding COVID-19 restrictions or the impact they could have on our wait. However I did receive an email outlining a rate increase back in February. So it seemed as if our spot was secured. Until I emailed the director my son would be coming to daycare in two weeks. Then I was informed there are no open spots. I'm so pissed! Luckily we found a good daycare with an open spot for now. I was very close to not being able to go back to work!
