I’m in high debt and idk what to do

I calculated my debt and I’m 5860.19$ in debt.

I only work part time because i have a young daughter. My stepdad has a lot of money, he’s rich and got the business loans. I want to ask him to help me pay off my debt, and pay him back slowly over time. Im just embarrassed and don’t want to have to ask him, or have him tell other people about my situation.

I just don’t know how to go about this conversation. :( i have a spending habit and idk how to stop.. it’s an addiction. I think i have bipolar disorder, I get in these moods and act impulsively but i want to change.
