Need some advice

I had my weekly appointment yesterday at 37 w+5d had my cervix exam. I’m 3.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced no contractions just period like cramping so I did not get admitted. I had already lost my mucus plug awhile back and had my bloody show yesterday. I feel fine just waiting for baby girl to make her appearance. When did you mommies go to the hospital? Have any other mommies gone through this? Have you tried anything to speed up the process? Btw I’m a first time mommy
