My LO is 2.5 months now and hates breastfeeding. He was started on formula because it took a few days for my milk to come in, and it's not very much.. he did breastfeed in between for 2-3 days but was beginning to look thin so switched back to formula.. with formula he struggles to poop.. waking up from sleep and trying hard ( I am scared will give himself a hernia) and we need to assist and hold his legs up for him to poop.. and days he doesn't poop he vomits a lot of his feeds in bouts ( not spit up but actual vomiting) and feeds very little .. I want to put him back to the breast.. but cries everytime I even get him into position.. he acts like I am torturing him.. initially when he would do this.. I would quickly give him the bottle to calm him.. now he wants the bottle and despises the breast.. how can I restart breastfeeding? He cries, fusses and needs to be consoled everytime we attempt!
