Late Baby shower

So my friends have decided to throw me a baby shower, which is really sweet and unexpected since I’m pregnant with my second son. There are a few things I need, ie crib sheets and a mobile, bottle and room organizers, and of course diapers, wipes, and soap. I really want to go ahead and buy the things to get the nursery finished but I feel like I got a lot of that at my shower last time. The thing is they are pushing the shower back in hopes that Covid will ease up in our area, so I’m going to be almost 37 weeks pregnant at the shower. I’m nervous that if I wait until after the shower to buy these things that i won’t have the time to get everything situated and ready but at the same time if we could save the money by letting other people purchase these items for us it would be a big help. What would y’all do?
