Sex party for married couples??

My husband is super VANILLA... like alot. So i wanted to spice things up. I'm trying new things and he isnt liking what I'm putting out.
I was thinking of trying a sex party.. we are strickly only interested in each other so we would only be going for the atmosphere and for some excitement. What do you guys think about sex parties?? Your experience if you have any would be great to hwar about! 😍

If he’s “vanilla” (hate that word when describing people it’s just not nice) then he’s not going to be up for a house full of people fucking is he, I would find that disgusting. 
Why can’t you “spice” things up with just you too and start off slow and see what he’s comfortable with 
Can you imagine if you came on here and made a post saying 
“Oh my partner says I’m vanilla at sex and our sex life is vanilla so he says he wants to have a sex party at our house to spice things up but I’m not comfortable with that at all” 
People would tell you red flag and to leave

It would be helpful to know what he's turned down but if he's turning things down, I really don't think that's something he's going to be interested in.  That's an enormous leap, vanilla to sex parties and swinger events.

Are you going to discuss it first or just surprise him with it...because the latter us an AWFUL idea. I would say in general talk to him about trying something new but start small. Like a toy or handcuffs. Baby steps...as long as he is comfortable..but going from he is boring in bed to hey lets go to a party with people screwing all around us so we can have sex there may be a bit of a jump. And may end up being something he is never comfortable with.

I feel this is so extreme... if he didn’t like what you were doing in private why would he be down for something like this?? I’m just confused. I honestly would not even bring it up! Give him time to warm up to new things, find out what he even likes and let him guide the situation. Like everyone else is saying if the roles were reversed it would not be okay.

This is way too extreme. If he rejects a lot of what you propose to do in private, why on earth would he want to go around a bunch of people having sex? 
At the end of the day, you can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to do. Instead of suggesting things, try asking him what he’s interested in trying out. Since he has tighter boundaries than you, let him throw out things he’s comfortable with.

So we did this 🙋🏼‍♀️ and it was awesome!! But I’d say it absolutely depends on your type of relationship, trust, and what turns you guys on!
Have you ever watched porn together? Because if it turns you both on to see other couples enjoying each other, I’d say go for it. We went to a club in Toronto called Oasis Aqualounge. There is zero obligation to participate in sex with other people, and everyone was extremely body-positive and welcoming. 
The first time we went, even just walking around got us really turned on. We ended up staying for hours, only had sex with each other, but the atmosphere was amazing. We talked about it for months afterward and it lit our sexlife on fire. We’ve went back a few times since then. 
I realize this isn’t for everyone. That being said, I don’t get jealous easily, and we both get aroused watching other people experience pleasure. 
If you two are both at-least, open-minded, (vanilla or not), then I say go for it. It made us grow together and connect in a way I hadn’t realized was possible. 🙌🏼
