I phoned my doctors regarding bad swelling in my feet that came out of nowhere, I also mentioned bad back pain as I was worried about potentially having pre eclampsia.

They invited me down to take my blood pressure, temp and check a urine sample for proteins all of which came back fine however my urine had some sugar in it and some sign of a water infection.

They asked for a FMU sample and sent it off yesterday which can take a couple of days and then they would get in contact with me about maybe having a fasting glucose test.

Has anyone else had this and not had gestational diabetes? Or can it come on really suddenly?
