Anyone have a cervical check at 34 weeks?

Curious if anyone has had a cervical check at 34 weeks? Normally my office starts at 36 weeks. I thought about asking if they would check because I went at 35 weeks with my first. I’m kind of curious and would feel better if they checked and said my cervix was hard and closed still.

I got checked to make sure my water wasn’t ruptured. I feel like they only check that early if you have any pressure/pain or maybe even leakage

Yup. I’ve been getting them at every appointment. I’m having my 34 week checkup today and they’ll check it again

My OB doesn’t check until 40 weeks.

In the U.K. they don’t start doing checks until 40 weeks

It couldn't hurt to ask.  The worst they could do is say no.  My office starts checking at 36 weeks

I had my last baby at 35 weeks and was showing signs of preterm labor this time so have been getting weekly checks since 33 weeks

I’m just leaving my OB office at 35w2d after a NST. They are inducing at 37 weeks due to diabetes and baby measuring large. She will not check my cervix until next week to see if it’s doing anything. If not doing anything they will admit me the night before my induction. If it’s ripe they will admit me the morning of my induction.

No they don’t touch your cervix until your in labour or having a stretch and sweep at 40 weeks
