Diapers?

I’m about 12.5 weeks pregnant. I’ve been thinking about buying diapers and wipes weekly so I can start a good stockpile. Any advice on how many of each size? Brands?

I only ended up using maybe 180 newborn diapers. So stockpiling all the other sizes would be good. I used size 1 for a few months and then size 2 I used for about 6 months. Size 3 I didn't use a lot. Size 4 I only used for like 2 months. And then I moved him into size 5 at 1 year. And now we are only size 6 at 18 months. And I used the luvs.

I mainly used size 1 & 3 and preferred Pampers and Huggies. I didn’t do weekly, but I got a box every time I went to the grocery store and got some from my shower and didn’t buy diapers til he was >1 yr old

Most likely won’t need many newborn diapers. I used a lot of size 2 and a lot of size 4 with both my kids.

I agree with the card idea. You won’t know til babe arrives if they’ll have an allergy to a specific brand, and don’t want to see money wasted! Just set aside a box of diapers worth of money instead!

I’ve bought a target gift card with each paycheck instead of diapers because I didn’t know which ones would work for me. Then we can use the gift cards for diapers when he comes.

I started stocking up at 35 weeks this lady i know sold me the big box of little snugglers for 25 each box 🥰 i have like 3 of n 3 of 1 and 1 of 2

Buy small packs of different brands was the advice I was given 😊 since you don’t know what brand will work for baby (each is different from the last lol) like the 25-50 packs and all different sizes. 
I know from the baby shower we’ll probably get a variety like that so for us I’ve been buying 1 pack of Costco wipes and a box of each size (started with 1 and will go to 4) and then pause on Costco and probably buy a few size 2-3 of other brands and then after the baby shower see if I need a box or two of newborn and go from there.
