Mucinex (or Guaifenesin) while TTC?

Has anyone been taking Mucinex while TTC? I’ve been reading about it and wondering if anyone else takes it, if it worked for them, etc. I wouldn’t say my CM needs to be thinned out - not sure if it would be pointless or not. Since I suffer from seasonal allergies I’m kinda wondering if it would be beneficial for both! 🤷‍♀️

From what I’ve read Mucinex would dilute cervical mucus, giving sperm an easier time getting to the egg. For some studies the women were given 200 milligrams of Mucinex/Guaifenesin three times a day, from the fifth day of menstruation through to ovulation.

Also, just read a blog post about the “trifecta to getting pregnant” which included Mucinex (600mg x2/day), Pre-Seed and Soft Cups.
