When does babies permanent hair come in?

Just curious my baby was born with a lot of hair and at 2 weeks it’s definitely falling out little by little. Just curious to when their permanent hair comes in.

My older daughter lost all her hair and was pretty much bald by 4 months old. At about 6 months or so her hair started to grow in

My baby has a ton of hair. I keep him on a silky pillowcase so he doesn’t lose his hair which is caused by rubbing on fabric.

It can take a looong time or maybe you won't even notice it.
Some babies have their hair and keep it. Their permanent hair starts growing while the newborn hair is still there.
Other babies go bald and stay that way for months, maybe even a year.
Sorry but you can't really tell how long it takes!

My daughter is 17 months and she just recently (past few months) has had more hair growing in.
