Mosquito bite or spider bite?

It’s red and fevered to touch. She keeps cry that it hurts but idk if she knows the difference between hurt and itch.

I just got stung by some ground bees the other day. Looked just like that and swelled and hurt for 4 days. Was noticeably warmer to the touch.  No matter what kind of bite it is, cortisone and ice are helpful.  Make sure to have benadryl just in case of any further reaction.

Can't tell from the picture but if it's got two little punctures in the middle it's likely from a spider. If it's one puncture in the middle, it still might be a wasp or a number of other things, so you're not out of the water with that either.
Do you have a cream for insect bites? If not, a very simple cold compress could help, and if it's not getting better very soon, call your pediatrician.

Hmmm... Younger kid? Or your August kid? I think August kid would maybe? Be able to note if it hurt of itched I would be more inclined to believe.
I don't think either way there is much to worry about unless she spikes a fever or starts acting funny. Or it becomes obviously infected. 
If it's hot to the touch though, I wonder how long ago she got bit? That could be a sign of infection but if she was just bit today and it's hot it just could be because of the swelling. Hm hard to tell! Hope it resolves quickly!
