Adivce????

My step daughters mom called me last deal that they have been around someone who tested positive for Covid and that they were going to quarantine for 2 weeks. Thought that was okay, she called and said it’s been a week and they feel better. That she wants to drop my step daughter off this weekend. Well my husband it upset because I told him to tell her no, to wait the whole 14 days or take her to get tested and she can return with a negative result. Me and my husband have a 4 month old son here at home and while we work my parents watch my step daughter and son. My parents both have heart problems and my mom has asthma. My husband then tried to argue that he will take her to get tested and now he’s even more upset because I told him if he does it take 2-6 days for the results to come back, so my step daughter and husband have to quarantine themselves somewhere until they get her results back.....

Am I wrong?
