Teachers- are you more biased toward names of kids you have taught?

I feel like I’m super biased toward names of kids ive taught when they show up in this group

I can see myself being more biased against a name that an unpleasant student has. But most of the time I don’t connect names I like to students.

Some yes some no. I had already had the name Noah picked out , and have taught a couple Noah’s since one great one terrible and neither changed my mind on it. Although if I hadn’t already picked the name out, hearing a name that made me think of a student might change my mind on using it.

I have such a bad habit of connecting names to students, if I have taught a child I would not use their name especially if they were ‘challenging’ however I would use it for a middle name if I like the name a lot
