I dont know anything about make up but want to start using it... what brands should I get on Amazon. ...

I wouldn’t order makeup from amazon. You don’t know the quality of the stuff you’re getting. Order from a store like ulta or go look in person somewhere

Yes, KatVonD has the best products I ever tried. Her lipsticks stay all day, you can eat, kiss hahahaha the mascara gobiggohome is beautiful! 
Nars has good products 
Benefit prime is amazing, it good brands! 
Nyx is cheaper and also very good!!

I would go to ultra or Sephora and they usually will do your makeup for free if you buy $50 worth of products. You need to know what works for your skin and skin tone. Then once you know your products then maybe order online.
