I mean my office let me go outside of office to where hubby was. I had to re-enter office a couple mike before each withdrawal. But that also depends on the dr office as well.

they mostly keep you so you don’t walk around or do anything that could burn sugar and effect and your results ... i had GD with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy and anytime my sugar was high i just did a 10 min walk and bam it was low again so i could see how it would effact lab results and why they keep you

They let me sit in my car. But you have to go back hourly for bloodwork so I wouldn’t go too far
