I got a power rocker recliner in leather. It was quiet to put the leg rest down, easy to clean up, and comfortable, plus not bulky ottoman in the middle of the room to trip over. I really think I would have struggled early postpartum to put the leg rest down if it wasn’t powered. We still rock in it while we read our bedtime stories almost 2 years later.

Something that recliner and has a foot rest.. we didn’t have one for our first and it was awful. This time got a used one online for $40 and it reclines and glides. Looks like this pic and I love it so much!!!
