Should I be concerned?

I am 7 weeks and 1 day, I had an ultrasound last week at 6 weeks and 6 days and I know the baby is pretty small but we can’t see anythinggggg, they told me to drink a lot of water and come back for a follow up this Friday.. My last pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy, leaving me with one Fallopian tube. God forbid this is a repeat I would be devastated if it happens again. I’m being told to watch for any cramping or bleeding but honestly when it happened last time i didn’t experience bleeding or cramping I just randomly started bleeding and cramping one day and rushed myself to the hospital! Should I wait until Friday before I take myself to the ER?

You shouldn’t go to the ER unless you are experiencing an emergency. I understand WHY you would want to go beforehand, but that isn’t what the ER is for. You should call your doctor and express your concerns. At 6 weeks my baby looked like a bumblebee, but I’ve also heard of people not being able to see anything at 6 weeks which is why doctors don’t usually do ultrasounds that early (I did IVF which is why they did.)

I had an ectopic pregnancy 6 years ago.  I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and at 5 weeks was in a lot of pain.  I went to ER to rule out another.  They couldn’t see baby but could see a gestational sac in uterus which ruled out ectopic.  At 6w4d saw baby/ flickering heartbeat.  So they would have known if you were having another ectopic by the ultrasound

Going to the ER is stupid is this scenario sorry.... anything before 8-9 weeks is hard to see on ultrasound. If there was a flicker happening for a heartbeat you are just fine.

I would absolutely call ur doc and explain your concerns. At 6 weeks they should be able to see something somewhere. I just had an ectopic last week and had no symptoms at all. There was a baby in my fimbria. Also, if they are drawing blood, they should be able to determine what your levels are doing to see how your pregnancy is doing. Good luck to u!!!
