Why would my gynecologist tell me that I could be pregnant?

Cause I asked my doctor about it and yet she told me that there is a possibility and yet she didn’t tell me to stop taking my pills.
I’d like some advice that if there is a possibility of pregnancy should I stop taking the pills until I know for sure?
Should I call my gynecologist and ask her nurse about it and see what they tell me to do?

Are you talking about birth control pills? Of course if you want to get pregnant you should stop taking your birth control

If a penis has entered your vagina, you can be pregnant. Thats why. Keep taking your pills until you know you are.

No keep taking them because if you aren't and you end up stopping them you could end up that way and have a messed up cycle too. Short term usage when pregnant isn't going to hurt a baby if you were pregnant. Keep taking them until you find out if you are or not.
