TSH level low
Hello!
I had my first appointment at the gynecologists office in my 8th week. They ordered a couple of blood tests along with a urine test. I submitted the samples last Thursday , today is end of Monday and I’m yet to hear back from them with the results. They gave me access to health portal in my first appointment. I checked the portal today evening and noticed the results were uploaded. But I didnt get a call from the nurse. All levels were normal except the TSH, which was extremely low at .11 . Therefore, I’m surprised no one called me yet. I will be calling them first thing tomorrow morning.
At the beginning of my pregnancy, at around 4 weeks, they tested my TSH levels and it was 3.1, so the doctor put me on 75mg of levothyroxine which I am currently taking. Now after a month, when TSH was tested, it was extremely low.
I wanted to ask all you ladies if this kind of response/late response from a gynecologists office is normal? This is my first pregnancy, and I’m wondering if I’m over thinking it or if I need to search for another gynecologist.
