Help me decide! Build or remodel?

So my husband and I are trying to deceive whether to remodel a more run down home making it more modern and an “US” home or if we should just build?!!

We’re building 🤗 We found 3 acres of land for pretty cheap but we’re putting a manufactured home on the land to live there while we build 🙃 So we don’t have to really rush. The home is huge so I love it

Depends on location for me. We would have been okay building, but would have had to go pretty far out to do so easily. It was way cheaper to remodel in our desired neighborhood than to build on a lot.

We’ve been renovating for about a year and a half now! It’s been a wild ride lol. It’s pricey for sure but it’s cool looking back on things and the memories we had doing them. My father in law works in construction and lives next door so we’ve been lucky with him helping us so much. Otherwise we probably wouldn’t of and just bought new. It’s a lot of work and takes a long time!
