Can my son have powder and liquid formula?

My son is almost a month old and is powder formula fed. I have some of small liquid formula bottles and I’m wondering if he can drink those too, like when I go out I can give that to him instead of the powder? ￼

Your going to just have to make sure they are the same type but I did that powder is cheaper. If they are different kinds of formula it might bother babies tummy

I always did the liquid for night feeds and when we’re traveling/at my parents house and use powder when we’re home for the day. It works for my family, just make sure baby’s tummy is tolerating the change back and forth.

That's tricky.
They are technically the same in their ingredients but not really. The consistancy and addition of preservatives in the liquid form can cause upset tummy. My LO was fine with powder but would scream bloody murder from gas pains after using the liquid form.

My first could switch between them just fine. My second couldn’t, he always got barfy with powder.

We had my son on soy and it was sold out quite a few times when we went to get some. They also didn’t make a liquid form for that brand so we got the closest we could and he was fine.
