What to do with a toxic Baby Momma?

My SO has joint custody of his twin boys. He bought each one a goldfish recently. Well, one of the goldfish died. Of course the boys were disappointed but my SO held a goldfish funeral with a ‘21 gun salute’ (with a BB gun). When the boys were telling me about the whole thing it was so cute. They’re so cute. They’re 5, but weren’t upset and crying over the dead fish and I liked the way my SO handled the situation.

Anyway their mother has turned the whole thing into a shitshow. Apparently when they got home telling her about the 21 gun salute (which was really just my SO shooting a BB gun 21 times), she ran with it, putting the boys in different rooms to question them 🤦🏾‍♀️. Fun with their dad got turned on them.

So she calls him and asks him and he told her about the fish dying and the BB gun. She tells him that the kids told her that he’s got guns at his home and in the car and that he brings it with him when he comes to pick them up (all lies). She’s threatening to take him to COURT. She recorded him and tried to get him to admit he had a gun when he picked the kids up.

He doesn’t own a gun or have a gun and even if he did, that’s not illegal or wrong. If he had a gun you best believe he wouldn’t leave it in reach of his boys. He’d die if anything happened those kids. He’s ALWAYS been protective of them. But she’s trying to say he has the gun to shoot her! 🙄...and that’s why he brought the gun with him when he picked the kids up.

My SO is worried because he knows what she’s like and knows she will lie to get what she wants. I’m like baby don’t worry about it. Let her go to the courts; they’ll laugh in her face. What scares me that she will call the cops like she has in the past. I worry what will happen if she reports he threatened her with a gun, calls the cops and the cops show up at a black man’s house already thinking he’s violent and has a gun. This dumb biatch doesn’t care or THINK about the consequences of her actions. She’s never seen him with a gun but I don’t put it past her to lie based off of other things she’s done in the past. So now he wants me to always go with him when he picks them up so he’s got a witness. This woman is so toxic.
