Diet and breastfeeding (response to deleted post) **Edit**

I typed this all up and it wouldn't let me post it! I'm not sure if the poster deleted it or what but this is the comment I was trying to post. Hope this helps 😊

I wouldn't say my diet is bland, but I do try to eat extra nutrient rich foods. I've always tried to stick to a healthy diet though.

I eat two eggs with half an avocado, toast with plain almond butter and sliced banana just about every afternoon (not a breakfast eater) but I drink hot green tea with lemon first thing every morning (no sugar or sweetener) which is very rich in antioxidants and vitamin c. It's great for your whole body, inside and out, especially after a night of fasting! 🍵

I also eat a salad with dark leafy greens (spinach and kale), grape tomatoes, cucumber and fresh mozzarella cheese with a little balsamic vinaigrette dressing or ginger dressing just about everyday. If I don't have it in between lunch and dinner, then I prepare it with my dinner.

I eat greek yogurt with fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) with flax, chia, and hemp seeds for a snack. It's delicious and nutritious 🍓😋

For dinner, I just make whatever since my family can be a bit picky. I make tacos, chicken fettuccine alfredo with crescent rolls, salmon with sweet potatoes and veggies (my fave), burgers with veggie chips or sweet potato fries, brown sugar meatloaf with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and cheesy broccoli, breakfast for dinner, tilapia with rice and roasted asparagus, bbq pork chops, fried chicken, pizza, etc. I like to switch it up a lot. 🤤

If I'm hungry before bed, I'll snack on almonds. They're soooo good for you and have lots of protein, healthy fats, and fiber to keep you full. Or, if I'm really hungry, I'll eat a bowl of special K protein cereal or Special K chocolatey delight cereal if I'm feeling naughty 😏 Haha! I eat my cereal with whole vitamin D milk. I also make sure I drink plenty of water as well. That's really all I drink besides green tea. Sometimes I'll drink unsweet tea if I go out to eat though, but usually I ask for water with extra lemons. 🍋

I think I'm getting all of the necessary nutrients my LO and I need though. I've never had a problem with my milk production, not even when I nursed my first. Drinking lots of water is key! 🗝

**Edit

I forgot to mention that I also love carrots and celery with hummus for a snack too! 🥕
