Pre-conception check up

Hi ladies! My husband and I are ttc this fall. I am super nervous about it because i have hypothyroidism and my doctor changed my medication dose again. I’m going to an endocrinologist in a few weeks to get it set straight ! I’m scared my thyroid will make me infertile or cause a miscarriage.

Also i have an appointment with an obgyn for a preconception check up in August. Any tips on what to expect at this visit or what to ask? Anything you wish you knew or asked your doc before getting pregnant? Any advice greatly appreciated!
