Egg Retrieval with Stage 4 Endo

Possible trigger warning **egg retrieval results**

23 follicles, 13 eggs, 12 mature, 9 fertilized !!! Which is great news for me. The next worrying part is wondering if some will make it to freeze. Anyone have any similar numbers and success? I would love to hear some success stories to give myself some hope ❤️

a little bit about me, I’m 31 and have stage 4 deep infiltrating endo. My surgeon said it was one of the worst cases she had seen. Unfortunately I had a late diagnosis, took me over 10 years to finally get a diagnosis after being gaslighted by doctors. Last year I had a 6 hour surgery (excision and ablation)my ovary was the size of my uterus and had a grapefruit sized endometrioma which ruptured last February 😱. The most painful thing ever. And that’s what it took to finally get a diagnosis and have doctors believe me. I have been on an anti-inflammatory diet for a year and a half to help pain from my Endo symptoms.

I have secondary infertility. My husband is 26 and has no issues with his sperm. And we have been trying to conceive for 3 years. Our fertility doctor thinks we are possibly having a mechanical issue where sperm and egg cannot meet natural. We finally started our IVF journey. I just had my egg retrieval yesterday. We had to cancel our fresh transfer as my estrogen levels were high and could put me at OHSS risk. Hoping we have success with freeze 🤞🏼
