I don’t know where to vent to or who to talk to about this... 💔

I’m almost 34 weeks pregnant and last week I was getting my weekly ultrasound, and the high risk doctor (I’m high risk because of blood pressure) told me that he saw “something weird” on baby’s heart, and referred me down to a Fetal Concerns center to see a fetal cardiologist...

I was in the process of switching hospitals so the next day I had an initial appointment with a regular OBGYN at a different hospital. The high risk doctor I saw the previous day didn’t tell me what he saw, but the new OB I was seeing told me what he wrote in his notes- Ventricular Aneurysm.

She was very nice and spent the time looking around the hospital for the high risk doctor for that hospital to get his opinion on what we should do. She talked him into getting me a second opinion ultrasound first thing Monday morning before they would refer me to the fetal concerns center through them...

I’m just hoping the first high risk doctor was wrong and misdiagnosed the heart problem... 💔 If he’s right, I won’t be bringing home a baby in the next few weeks as it’s usually fatal... 😞
