Ladies, a little help here (no judgement please). During my period last month, I noticed that my Lena cup smelled, I’m not even joking, like broccoli. After I sterilized it, the smell wasn’t as strong, but still there. I even soaked it in hydrogen peroxide (to get the stains/discoloration out and make it look brand new; it really works!) and that finally worked.

Fast forward to this month, no smell from my cup. Yay! I take it out to rinse and reinsert.... and the smell is back again. I’m fairly certain it’s my cup that smells and not me, but I’m confused because it only started happening about two months ago. I looked on their website and they said that with proper cleaning and care, it shouldn’t smell. But other people have gone through the same thing. I’m currently wearing a pad and giving my cup a chance to air out.

Is this normal? I’ve had my cup for about two years, and always rinse in between/sanitize after my period. I know no one else can smell it but it’s bothering me, what can I do to help get rid of it for good?
