Has anyone used a pessary for thrush with stitches before?

I had my daughter alittle over a week ago and i had to have quite a few stitches (i think) i wasn't really told where or how many stitches i had or what dagree the tears were but they gave me a pessary but ive been scared to even look down there let alone stick something up there 😕

Any advice on how to use the pessary or is there a different way i can treat the thrush?
