I just finished up a root canal a couple weeks ago and I’m scheduled to get a traditional crown this week. The first appointment is post and core with a temporary followed by the permanent crown at the second appointment. This is for a back molar.

Has anyone had a traditional crown placed? What material did you choose and why? How long has the crown lasted you?

I am also looking at another office that offers porcelain cerec same day crowns that can be placed in a 2 hr appt with no temporary needed. Has anyone had these? Are you happy with the crown and how long has it lasted you?
